Live Footage Showing When Two Robbers Ambushed a Man On Bronx Street (Video)

A pair of Bronx bandits beat a man for his cell phone, ambushing him as he walked home from the gym, cops said Sunday.

Police have released video of the early Feb. 4 mugging, which shows the 28-year-old victim walking near a bus stop at E. 163rd St. near Simpson St. in Foxhurst at 4:30 a.m.

One of the robbers walked alongside him and punched him in the face. The two struggled with something in the victim’s hand, and a second mugger joined the fracas, knocking their target to the ground.

Cops describe both suspects as Hispanic men in their 20s, about 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds. One wore a black knit cap, a black jacket, a dark coloured shirt, light coloured pants and black sneakers; the other man had a black and grey sweater, blue jeans and yellow work boots.
